Pompe disease is a rare and progressive genetic disorder that affects the muscles, heart and breathing. Enzyme replacement therapy (ERT): ERT involves the administration of a recombinant form of the missing GAA enzyme. SRT is usually administered orally and is typically used in conjunction with ERT.

Gene therapy: Gene therapy aims to replace the missing or defective gene that causes Pompe disease with a functioning copy of the gene. This approach is still in the experimental stages and is not yet widely available, but early results have been promising and have shown improved muscle function and heart and respiratory function in some cases.

Physical therapy and rehabilitation: Physical therapy and rehabilitation are important components of managing Pompe disease. This type of therapy involves exercises and activities to maintain and improve muscle strength, flexibility, and mobility. Rehabilitation may also include the use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, and oxygen support, as well as the management of heart and respiratory problems.
