While working as the chairman of the Kisan Manch of the New Delhi unit, he worked for the betterment of slum dwellers in New Delhi. In 2006, he fought vigorously for the acquisition of cultivated land in Dadri Andolan and for the rights of farmers.
From 2015, under the leadership of Pt. Shekhar Dixit, Kisan Manch Uttar Pradesh launched a campaign against the government machinery for the plight of farmers. Since then, the Kisan Manch has been doing all kinds of activities to support the farmers in the drought-prone region of Uttar Pradesh.
